After a few weeks at Magee Rehab in the city, I was able to smoothly transition to Berlin for additional nursing services that I knew I was not ready for at home. They welcomed me in and in a quick 2 weeks got me ready to get home independently. I was lucky enough to be able to do a home visit with my family beforehand to ensure I felt safe for my discharge – and I did!
